Open Letter To Jamil Al-Amin
IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL.
March 11, 2002
As-Salaam Alaikum.
My Dear Brother,
He whom Allah befriends
is not disgraced. It grieves me and the members of
the Nation of Islam to learn of the decision of the jury. We had hoped that
you would be found innocent. However, knowing of your great faith in Allah
and His Messenger and your striving for these many years to obey Allah's Will
and to give Right Guidance to the people, I am assured that Allah, the Most
High is comforting you and will be protecting you from whatever evil is
planned against you. What the world does not know about those of us who
confess our belief in Allah, the One True God, and our desire to obey Him and
fear Him above all, is, that in a part of our prayer we say, *My prayers, my
sacrifices, my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
No associate has He and of this am I commanded, and I am of those who submit.*
The Bible teaches
that, *All things work for good for those who love the
Lord.*
No matter how negative
this verdict or the sentencing may be; no matter how
painful it may be to those of us who love you and believe in you, I am
strengthened and we must be strengthened in the fact that nothing happens
except by the Active or Permissive Will of Allah. He permitted this, and,
great good will come from it, even though at this time we may not be able to
see the good that Allah has in this negative judgment for us.
May Allah bless,
guide, protect you, and, grant you His Peace and Security,
and, above all grant you and the righteous the best of all gifts, Life in the
Hereafter.
We, the Nation of Islam will continue to keep you in our prayers.
I Am Your Brother and Servant,
The Honorable Minister
Louis Farrakhan
Servant to the Lost-Found
Nation of Islam in the West
